Come along to this workshop for some expert tips and techniques on working with scuba, and create a stylish but practical scuba shoulder bag.  Scuba is a double jersey, and for this bag we'll use a lovey 3mm version, which has a layer of foam wadding between the jersey.  Using scuba this thick presents its own challenges, and in this workshop you'll learn how to tame the bounce!

We'll cover

  • cutting and sewing with scuba

  • how to create a sharp finish with this bouncy fabric

  • adding a magnetic closure

  • adding a rigid internal base

Please bring

  • Your sewing kit -  scissors, pins, stitch unpick, marking chalk etc

  • Notebook & pencil

What will be provided

  • magnetic closure

  • scuba fabric, precut.  Colour choices will be added next week for you to pick from and will definitely include black!

  • rigid layer for inside the base of the bag
