Learn to Knit Continental

I Sew 2, Kirkintilloch

Thursday 16th May 2019

Learn how to knit in the Continental style - you hold the yarn in your left hand and pick it up with the right hand needle.  It's a great way to speed up your knitting, and is very comfortable to use with circular pins.  It's also a very neat way to use more than one colour in your knitting.  Once you've mastered the technique, you can practise by making this beautiful scarf with all materials provided, all you need to bring are a pair of 4.5mm knitting needles (straight or circular) and a darning needle for threading the felt beads.  This class is best suited to knitters with some experience.  Maximum class size: 8

At I Sew 2, 117 Townhead, Kirkintilloch, Glasgow G66 1NX

Cost £40 including yarn and felt, and tea or coffee.

Please bring 4.5mm needles and a darning needle with a fairly sharp point.
